Of trust and disappointment { 10:34 PM

As I go through the days of my life, I realised.

Trust, really is a big deal. It is a huge component I need in my life. Something i must have towards the people i interact with, in order for me to feel secure and safe throughout.

Is it the same for you? Because I believe it's vice versa.

Do you find that sometimes, when talking to somebody, you prefer to listen to him/her than talk about something that is bothering your mind? Because you dont know if you could trust that person who's talking? And sometimes when you think you trust somebody, they end up blabbering elsewhere about something concerning you, that you thought him/her can keep to themselves?

So the question is, can I trust you?

Will you trust me? We can keep peace this way.

When we trust someone, all we expect is to not get disappointed by him/her.

Why? Because, i know the feeling of disappointment simply makes one feel downcast and rejected. When it is by someone you trust, these feelings seems to weigh a hundred times heavier. Thus I hope not to get it from you, albeit i know disappointment in life is an inavoidable cycle. Sometimes the people themselves don't mean for it to happen, and sometimes i myself am aware i cause it.

Man, is fallible. I am. Our weaknesses are pure and blunt, but it still takes time for us to see it. It is heartless. It doesnt care whether you show it or not, it still stays in you. Sometimes it appears in circumstances and you know it, yet sometimes you remain totally in an unconscious state. You can't predict when will it show, and how someone is affected by it or perhaps it triggered off something in someone, so that is bad. The probable occurance of causing disappointment and thus losing your stand in somebody's eye, is a weakness of ours.

This is when I link back to my life. I realised i 'chose' so many friends to trust initially, but after which, I also realised that the list had shrunk as the days went by. Why does this happens?
